There are two days left for Benton County residents to share their first-hand experiences and thoughts around recycling where they live.

The Benton County Solid Waste District, which regulates trash hauling in the county and helps residents recycle or safely dispose of all sorts of waste, is in the process of completing a comprehensive needs assessment that will guide the district’s decisions and programs over the next several years. As part of that effort, county residents can fill out a short recycling survey online until 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17.

It asks a few questions about your household and covers such topics as your recycling habits, satisfaction with existing recycling services and support for expanding those services.

Whether you love to recycle and just wish you could recycle more or you don’t see the point of recycling in the first place, your responses will help the district do a better job in the future, so chime in! If you provide a name and mailing address, you’ll also be entered for one of 10 $50 Amazon gift cards.
